Our May 2024 stay in the Rainbow Court was relaxing, comfortable, and very enjoyable. I enjoyed talking to our host Dan, who was very helpful and informative. The King room we stayed in had perhaps the most comfortable mattress I’d ever slept on. We can park in front of our room, which faces a beautiful garden/sitting area. No stairs to navigate. No breakfast is served, but they do supply coffee, delicious muffins, and homemade cider beginning at 0600 daily. There are many good restaurants a short drive away. We truly enjoyed our stay in this historic 100-year-old auto court and would stay here again if in the Rockdale area.

From start to finish our stay was exceptional! I usually stay in Taylor but decided to try Rainbow Courts out and I'm glad I did!! It was absolutely exactly what we needed for a nice little break. The room was very cozy, the grounds was beautiful and peaceful and the owners were so nice! Even giving us a tour of the property!! Fresh home-baked muffins, fruit and coffee every morning. It was so quite and cozy I didn't want to leave. Will absolutely stay here every time I'm in the area from now on!

It was very clean, and the air conditioner worked great. It had a wonderful homey atmosphere...perfect for two people. Loved the court yard, and the price was very reasonable!

Everything! The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly, professional & accommodating. The room was full of the little touches that make you feel so at home. Bed & pillows are so comfy. Clean everything. The room coffee was delicious.

I enjoyed the fact that this establishment is a historical landmark as the oldest motel in Texas and family owned. On the 1st night, our room was not very comfortable because it was not cool. It is likely due to the extreme heat during this time. The owner was kind enough to give us another room. But when we returned to our original room, it had cooled down. There are other places to stay in Rockdale, but Rainbow Courts is the place for me when visiting my family.

Absolutely wonderful experience! History & charm oozed from every crevice. The quaint room was immaculately clean and the bathroom was stocked with 5 star toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. We had a very late night event and was allowed a free late checkout. Talk about “Texas hospitality” - they got that covered too in the reception area. Great staff!! Gina was a dream to speak with offering historic knowledge of the property and surrounding area! Free snacks and a comforting warm drink were also on offer in reception. We loved it and will certainly be back!! 2 Thumbs UP!

The facility provides no formal breakfast services but provides Keurig variety coffer pods all day and muffin in the morning! That was all we needed in the morning routine anyway! The staff who booked us in was excellent, cheerful, courteous, and eager to help! Everything in the room was very clean and nothing to be requested for from the office. The only thing we would like to see the room be a bit larger, we both felt a bit clamp in there!

The property is over a 100 years old, so some of the floors are not so level, but the interior and furnishings are great. Clean rooms, bedding, great antique pieces in the rooms, string lights decorate the grounds, Adirondack chairs. The owners are great people. Why would want to pay more for Days Inn

It was such a cute place, the room I will admit was very little but I didn’t mind, it was comfortable, quiet and so clean! If you walked outside people would speak..,they have a Walmart about 4-5 minutes away. The staff was so sweet and kind, I’m definitely staying there again!
